Selection and Interviews

Our vacancies are open to both internal and external candidates; everyone has equal opportunities. The initial selection is based on your résumé and motivation letter. If you are invited, you will receive an email invitation for one or more interviews. Travel expenses (public transport, 2nd class) can be claimed through the hiring manager. You will be informed no later than five working days after the closing date whether you have been selected

Screening and Checks

Upon employment, we require a Certificate of Conduct (VOG), and an HR résumé screening will take place. For certain positions, we may request references with your permission. It is also possible that an assessment, selection test, or medical examination will be part of the procedure. You will always receive clear information about this in advance, as well as a substantiated evaluation afterward.

Decision and Employment Contract

You will hear within one week after the final interview whether you have been selected. If we reach agreement on the employment conditions, you will receive an offer from HR by email, including information about secondary employment conditions and onboarding. After completion of screening and verification, you will receive your employment contract digitally for signature.  

Introduction

We want to ensure that you feel welcome from day one. That’s why we offer an onboarding app that helps you quickly find your way within our organization. All new colleagues take part in an introduction day, where you will be introduced to our organization, our strategy, and — most importantly — the people who work here, in a pleasant and inspiring way. For physicians (medical specialists, residents in training, and junior doctors), nurses, and paramedics, the Radboudumc Health Academy organizes an additional introductory course alongside the introduction day. This course is specifically designed to familiarize you with the policies and procedures related to patient care, so you can start your work well‑prepared.
